Studio One Prime is intended as a trial for experienced users but also as a fully working DAW for beginners. Prime is the stripped down, free little brother to the professional DAWs but what it loses in features isn’t lost in overall design and functionality. This version is fully functional, but based on a limited set of audio processing tools and factory sounds. Studio One Prime is a free version of Presonus. Presonus Studio One 4 Prime (windows - mac)

I changed my wifi connection to using the ethernet cable only, turned off wifi, and I have had zero bluetooth connection issues with my magic mouse or keyboard.Cakewalk is a professional DAW and it is completely free to download for all Windows users.

I might consider a fan, or mounting sideways.Quoting myself here, but in case anyone is interested. Overall, I'm very happy with the mini, plenty of power, it does get fairly hot sometimes, when working long hours in Logic. I might consider a fan, or mounting sideways.

But 5ghz signals have their downsides too, for long distances and walls etc. I've heard 5ghz wifi will not conflict with bluetooth, since it's on a different band (bluetooth and wireless USB us 2.4ghz). I've gotten so used to side scrolling that it's going to suck, so know I have to do the shift+scroll to get sideways, but I'd rather do that than deal with the constant drop outs.

It's a known issue, and I'm just not going to use the magic mouse for now. So, I disabled magic mouse again, and instantly my wifi was back. However, the other day, I tried to reconnect magic mouse (I was frustrated, so I turned it off, and connected simple USB mouse), as soon as I reconnected magic mouse, I lost my wifi/internet all together. The keyboard has only disconnected like twice on me. When I download something, or load an internet page, the mouse can disconnect, and at times it takes up to 60 seconds before it reconnects. I'm pretty sure it's conflicting with my wifi. However, I do have a big problem with magic mouse and bluetooth in general. RME fireface via USB 2.0, and I haven't had a single issue (the T2 chip problem was fixed before I got my mini, so it's been flawless in that regard). Everything works great, multiple hubs and drives, HDMI. I'm using a Mini i7, 6 core, 1TB, 32g Ram, Logic Pro and Reason.
